Lead Generation
Lead Generation is generally regarded as necessary to run a business. Whether you have a Fortune 500 company or a small home-based operation, people who are interested in what you have to offer are essential if that business is to be viable and you are to make a profit.
Of course, word of mouth benefits all sorts or businesses - and there are ways of stimulating this - but getting started in a small business, or growing an already existing operation, requires more proactive steps.
A common approach is to buy leads. However, very often buyers will simply lose their money doing this, especially if you buy generic leads or those who've shown only a marginal interest in your business.
One of the worst strategies would be buying a list of email addresses for generic leads, especially those sold to multiple users. When someone receives an email and doesn't know who you are, forget about selling to that person. You can send out many thousands of emails and the response will be negligible - except for hostile, abusive replies!
Safer, and more profitable, is developing an automatic lead generation system that is either free or else costs very little to set up and maintain. In particular, you require the exact steps that will put your lead generation on auto-pilot - techniques that come with step-by-step instructions. The yellow brick road will then be paved with gold.
If your business requires phone numbers, this can be taken into account when you set up your free lead generation system. Design it so that your leads are not only pre-qualified but you are able to obtain telephone numbers at this time.
Postal leads are another solution - meaning the snail-mail variety. This is also risky, as well as being expensive. For instance, a common mistake is to mail a full package to unqualified leads. A better, and cheaper, approach is to first send a post card so that you aren't incurring costs on people who simply aren't interested or who may have already joined your program.
However, it isn't easy to even recover costs with postcards. Many find it really hard.
It isn't all just doom and gloom, though. You still need leads and there are methods which enable you to set up an automatic lead generation system, put them into an autoresponder for a series of emails, and send them a postcard later! However, to just buy leads and mail postcards has been a huge money loser for thousands of people.
The secret is to pre-qualify. The essential ingredient in building a lead generation system is to be sure you pre-qualify them for your offer! Fortunately, there are free and low-cost methods for doing this. Some of them will be mentioned briefly here. You should follow-up with a fuller, in-depth study of each.
Method 1. Viral List Builders. Techniques that encourage users to pass the product onto others, such as ebooks, jokes, cartoons, pictures, and important information.
Method 2. Ad Co-Op Publishing. Co-operative ventures with others who agree to place your advertising on their web pages in exchange for you doing the same with their ads.
Method 3. Forum Tricks. There are thousands of forums covering just about every topic. These provide opportunities to become known and to introduce readers to your informal advertising, as with your forum signature.
Method 4. Article Marketing Strategies. Articles are valuable as sources of content and information, as well as providing back links to your web site and pages.
Method 5. Special Bonuses. There are many ways incentives can be used to join your email list and to convert visitors to buyers.
Method 6. Reverse Marketing. Join every offer you can find that is related to your market and contact the person making that offer. They have already demonstrated an interest in your particular niche and are likely to require more quality information.
Method 7. Joint Ventures. Contact others who have shown a similar interest and invite them to JV with you. They provide leads and you just close the sales, offering a discount to their list.
Many of the costly lead generation approaches are costly failures for internet marketers wanting a profitable online business. However, it is possible to set up a successful low cost system that will automatically capture leads and build a long-term, profitable relationship with them.

What Are You Waiting For?
by Dr. Robert Anthony
Are You Putting Off Your Dreams? Or have things slowed down recently? Is your life visibly changing the way you want it to? Or are you still stuck with the same problems? I woke up today thinking about three people who contacted me this week concerning the progress they were making reaching their goals. They each said the same thing in a different way.
Although they all made good progress in the beginning, they are now all stalled. It's very frustrating for me because I got myself caught up in their dreams. I imagined how their lives would be when they've completed the changes they needed to make. I can easily see the benefits they will gain such as a much larger income, more satisfying relationships and the pride of knowing that they are doing exactly what they always wanted to do – and earning a great living from it.
It's also frustrating for another reason. Although I can see the finish line, they are standing still. The frustrating part of all this is they have all the tools necessary to succeed, but now they are stuck. So why have they stopped?
I can't say I know the answer for each of them. I'm sure there are many reasons. But I suspect there is one cause in every case. They have come to the point where they have done everything they could comfortably do and now they have arrived at a place where they've never been before. Any new step forward, represents a step out of their comfort zone.
If you want to improve the results in your life, you have to accept the fact that you can no longer do the same old things the same old way.
Making a commitment to change your life is a big step. It usually occurs when something has happened to make you realize that you are unhappy with some aspect of your life. Often this event or circumstance will jolt you into deciding that the time has finally come to change your current situation.
The charge that you get from deciding to change your situation will keep you going through the early stages of your transformation. For example, it can energize and motivate you to read a book, take a course, and even go through all the details of setting up a business. All those preparatory activities are necessary and good – but they amount to nothing unless you are able to get your dream started. And getting your dream started -- actually kicking your dream into action -- is new territory. New means strange. And strange means uncomfortable.
Having been involved with a number of very effective training programs over the years, I've been disappointed by how many bright and ambitious students fail to finish their training. And of those who finish, less ten percent turn their hard-earned skills into substantial or measurable results.
Then weeks or months later they look at the courses or programs they have taken and wonder, as I'm doing about these three people now: "What happened?"
If you feel that you were off to a good start but are currently stalled, you need to admit to yourself that you have probably slipped back into your comfort zone. More than likely you have been deceiving yourself that you are making progress, but at the same time you are really not getting anywhere.
What you need to do is take action. Even if it is a very small action. Nothing you can tell yourself, nothing you can say to others, nothing you can think or feel or imagine is going to get you out of the mental bog you're mired in. The only thing that can rescue you is – to take that next step.
Maybe you know what that is. If you know exactly what it is, DO IT! If you don't know, or aren't sure, allow you intuition to guide you. Do whatever you feel compelled to do, but do it NOW to get yourself going again -- even if it means entering your discomfort zone.
I said earlier, I am disappointed by how many people start to change their lives and then stall. Many of these people are good at the initial study phase, but lose pace when it comes time to make those next steps, transitioning from knowledge to action.
On the other hand, I'm thinking now about many people who have succeeded . . . about the hundreds of unsolicited letters I receive from people who have taken my “Secret of Deliberate Creation” program and are now living the lives they dreamed about. All they did was just FOLLOW THROUGH until they got results. They just applied simple steps outlined in the program and the changes were almost magical.
What is your dream? To become a freelance artist / writer / consultant? To own your own business? To become financially independent . . . perhaps even wealthy? Don't put off the success you've always dreamed about. My “Secret of Deliberate Creation” program will show you how to get started NOW and give yourself the jolt you need to make that final change to move you from where you are to where you want to be.

Why You Don’t Have What You Really Want
by Dr. Robert Anthony
Lets face it, most of us from time to time feel that life is just one big struggle with a series of never ending problems. Yet the truth is that life does not have to be that way. In fact, it can be just the opposite. Life is not about struggle and overcoming problems. Life is about pursuing and creating what we truly desire in an easy, stress-free manner. Is there something in your life that you want, but it seems to elude you?
Why is it such a struggle to create the things we want?
In short, if you don't have what you want (you name it) your subconscious holds some contradictory intentions for you.
To put it simply, you want something and it doesn’t.
For example you may say, “I want more money.”, but your dominant subconscious belief may be, “Earning the amount of money I want is very difficult”.
Notice anything different about these two statements?
They are going in different directions. So after years of frustrating and contradictory messages you still don't have what you want.
What is really happening is that your conscious and subconscious are almost always in conflict. You consciously say, "I want more money" and then after listening, your subconscious says, "No matter what you do, it is too difficult to create that amount of money". As a result there is no agreement between your conscious and subconscious. When this happens they cancel each other out and give up on assisting you to create what you would like to have in your life.
What is critical to understand is the competition, conflicting agendas, and disharmony between your conscious and subconscious is keeping what you from having what you desire.
Why?
Because when your conscious and subconscious are not in agreement they produce negative emotion. And it is that negative emotion or negative energy that attracts the things you don’t want.
Let me explain to you what is really happening.
Every thought is received by the brain, which is the organ of the conscious mind. It is here that it is subjected to our power of reasoning. When the conscious or objective mind has been satisfied that the thought is true, it is sent to the subconscious mind to be brought into the world of reality through quantum physics or the law of attraction.
It is no longer susceptible to any argument whatsoever. The subconscious mind cannot argue. It only acts. It accepts the conclusions of the conscious mind as final. This is the point at which the uncreated becomes the created, the universal becomes individualized, and the invisible becomes visible.
Put simply, every thought that you think has its own energetic vibrational frequency. That thought is impressed into your subconscious mind. Then, through the Law of Attraction it will energetically attract another person, place, thing or circumstance that has a vibrational match or is vibrating at the same frequency.
Your subconscious mind cooperates complete with your conscious mind when it understands and agrees with what you consciously want. In other words, when you conscious and subconscious are not in conflict.
Notice when you are feeling any negative emotion or conflict. That is you “inner guidance system” telling you that you are not in harmony with your desire. This is your first clue.
So, if you do nothing else, remember that you MUST correct and STOP the negative attraction IN THE MOMENT IT HAPPEN if you are serious about getting rid of the “Saboteur Within.” That will clear the way for your conscious and subconscious to work in harmony to bring your desire.
If you want a step-by-step blueprint on how to correct and stop the negative attraction in your life and attract whatever you desire easily and effortlessly, then take a moment to check out my “Secret of Deliberate Creation” program. I promise you the principles in the “Secret of Deliberate Creation” program will get you the results you desire faster than you ever thought possible.
